Bill Redmon, Ph.D.

CEO

As Kintla CEO, Bill leads the development of products, and services for applying innovative people programs in organizations. With his background in psychology, neuroscience and behavior, he brings a mix of science and practical thinking to Kintla’s services. He is currently leading the implementation of programs in leadership development, construction culture change, health & safety strategies, and customer experiences across multiple industries. Prior to joining Kintla, Bill was Global Manager of Talent and Development at Bechtel Corporation, a major engineering and construction company with more than 50,000 employees. At Bechtel, Bill managed learning, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and succession/talent pools throughout the company. He also implemented high performance teamwork models with major construction project teams and developed and implemented programs to improve front-line construction supervision. Earlier in his career, Bill consulted with numerous Fortune 500 companies in the private and public sectors to help refine their strategies, develop supporting performance and teamwork systems, and improve talent management processes. Bill holds a Ph.D. in Applied Psychology, is a licensed psychologist, and a Fellow of the American Psychological Association.

Joe Laipple, Ph.D.

Senior Vice President

As Senior Vice President, Joe applies neuroscience principles to the design and delivery of individual and organization improvement programs. He works closely with client teams to assess current needs, customize Kintla's neuroscience approach to fit their culture, and deliver sustained change. Joe values creating sustained change by working collaboratively with HR, internal consultant teams, home office and field organizations to create "local" ownership. Prior to joining Kintla®, Joe worked as an engagement leader for programs to improve strategy, productivity, sales, quality and safety across a variety of industries including pharmaceuticals, biotech, manufacturing, oil and gas, telecommunications, banking, financial services, healthcare and technology. He is a specialist in organizational development with 20 years of experience in facilitating major change initiatives across more than thirty midsize and large businesses within North America, Asia and Europe. Joe is an experienced psychologist, master facilitator, coach and trainer and has designed and delivered many high-engagement learning and personal improvement programs. He has work with leaders of all levels from front-line supervisors and individual contributors to senior executives and their teams. Joe is the author of numerous publications on productivity, performance improvement and organizational change including two recent books: Rapid Change: Immediate Action for the Impatient Leader (2012). Performance Management Press. Precision Selling: A Guide for Coaching Sales Professionals (2006). Performance Management Press.

Justin Arnold

Senior Consultant

Justin specializes in executive coaching, organization design, leadership development, change management and high-performance team building. His innovative and data driven approach helps organizations build high performing teams, develop self-awareness and shape cultural norms to improve delivery and modernize the employee experience. Prior to joining Kintla, Justin was a Vice President and Manager of People Strategy and Development at a major Engineering and Construction company with more than 50,000 employees worldwide. He was accountable for the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide talent strategies that spanned the employee lifecycle.  Justin has a background in construction and finance having worked on multiple projects throughout the United States as well as Algeria, Equatorial Guinea, and the United Arab Emirates. At Kintla, Justin has worked on multiple projects for organizations in the start-up phase, pre-IPO as well as multiple fortune 100 companies in the areas of construction, finance, real estate, government, aerospace, and education. Justin holds an undergraduate degree in human and organizational development and a master’s degree in leadership and organizational performance from Vanderbilt University.

Roger Lis

Senior Consultant

Roger Lis is a Senior Consultant and Safety Leadership Specialist who partners with clients to build sustaining cultures that drive safe, quality performance. After spending over a decade working in various key Environmental, Safety, and Health Leadership roles on multibillion-dollar projects, Roger knows what truly drives culture change, compliance, and ownership by front line leadership. Roger has global experience working with different cultures in industries such as aviation, government, mining, metals, and oil and gas. Using innovative approaches that incorporate neuro and behavioral science, Roger has developed strategies, tools, and processes that have received awards and recognition by universities, clients, and industries. For over a decade, Roger has worked in key Environmental Safety and Health roles at Bechtel in three of their five business units. He was Project ES&H manager for Bechtel National which serves government projects such as Ground Missile Defense, National Laboratories, Biological Threat Reduction, and Energy Clean-up. For Bechtel Oil Gas and Chemical, Roger was Operations and Functional ES&H Manager over Australia, which included three Liquefied Natural Gas plants in Queensland valued at over US$70 billion and one in Western Australia, over US$29 billion. Roger was also Bechtel’s Global Project ES&H Manager for one of Australia’s largest resource developments, Chevron’s Wheatstone LNG project. Most recently Roger was Bechtel’s Project ES&H Manager for Shell’s Petrochemical Plant in Monaca, Pennsylvania, which at peak will have a construction workforce over 6,000 people. Roger has a degree in Flight Technology with an emphasis in Aviation Management and Safety and Health Management from Central Washington University. Roger also holds a degree as an Aviation Maintenance Technician from the Spartan School of Aeronautics, and an Airframe and Powerplant License from the Federal Aviation Administration. Roger has served as an Executive Member of the Safety Management Advisory Board at Central Washington University, and was awarded a distinguished Alumni Award in 2014.

Kevin Berg

Senior Associate

In his role as Senior Associate at Kintla, Kevin contributes to the design and development of programs in Focus4Safety and strategies for improving quality and leadership. He also works with our delivery teams to identify innovative approaches to organization design and development and labor and workforce issues. Before joining Kintla, Kevin worked for Bechtel Engineering and Construction for four decades. At Bechtel, Kevin served as Global Manager of Environmental Health & Safety; Global Manager of Quality Control, Quality Assurance & Six Sigma; Manager of International Construction Resources; and Vice President and Manager of Strategy, Process & Behavior Integration for the company. Between 2011 and 2017, Kevin established standardized protocols, processes, and procedures for the simultaneous construction of three major Liquified National Gas facilities located on Curtis Island Queensland Australia, representing over $60 billion of total capital expenditure. While serving in this capacity, Kevin was elected the Australian Professional Manager of the Year by the Australian Institute of Management. He is the only non-Australian to ever be awarded this title. Upon successful completion of these projects, Kevin was appointed as Bechtel’s Global HR Transformation Manager, providing leadership and guidance for the implementation of an innovative HR strategy involving global workforce management and talent development. In 2018, he was elected President of a Bechtel limited liability company building the Vogtle nuclear power plant for Southern company. In addition to his work in the heavy industrial construction industry, Kevin has been an active investor in commercial real estate and restaurant franchises. Since he purchased a single piece of commercial real estate and a single franchise restaurant in 2010, his holdings have grown to include 23 restaurants in the Southeastern US, with 3 more currently in development. He brings both deep global corporate experience and entrepreneurial inspiration to this work at Kintla.

Jessica Schaper

Safety and Program Design Consultant

As Safety and Program Design Consultant, Jessica uses creative skills and techniques to develop and implement positive, sustainable safety cultures that will adapt and grow to suit to her client’s environment. After years of overseeing process improvement efforts on large-scale projects across the country, Jessica blends her expertise in communications, marketing, training, and team development to design high-quality, innovative products.  Jessica holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Sam Houston State University and as well as a degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University.
